Good to know
A few things before you begin.
Does “any scale” mean unlimited world size?
No. It means you can enter a custom scale rather than choosing only from presets. Very detailed or full-Earth worlds can require substantial disk space, memory and generation time. Start with a small region and check the footprint estimate before generating.
Is this a map download or an application?
This is a Windows desktop world generator. For a finished world you can download and install immediately, browse our ready-made Earth maps instead.
Do I need a separate WorldPainter install?
No. MC Earth Maps bundles its generation engine. You still need Minecraft Java to play the resulting world. Internet access is needed for sign-in, subscription verification and geographical data downloads.
What information does the application report?
Account-linked usage and diagnostics include a random installation ID, OS and app versions, jobs, exports and error signatures. Computer names, world contents and local file paths are not collected. See our privacy policy.
